It has snowed.

Also, I read that this is supposed to be the coldest winter here in the past 15 years. Given that we had a cold, wet spring, a cold wet summer (if you could even call it summer), and then a new summer right when fall was supposed to be starting... I can believe the cold winter hype. But I remember winter when I was 9, and that was damn cold.

Aside from the fact that all the family is here (except Gabriel, who barely deserves a mention because he's acting like a fucking jerk to his own mother), this is really a bad house for her. Lots of stairs, and, in the winter, lots of snow and ice.

But what else can be done? We'll all just shift around and make do, I think.

I really want her near anyway. I can't talk on the phone much with her, it's too hard to understand with the accent. In person I can talk to her, but not over the phone, and I feel bad.
