Foot still injured.

The kids, naturally, decided to take full advantage of this. Tomorrow I should be able to go out and about, so long as I can sit perfectly still once I'm there.

Elise is walking around the house with no socks and a t-shirt on, and complaining that she's cold. Until she at least puts on some sleeves, I have little to no sympathy for her.

Those two paragraph-ettes sum up today very nicely, I think.

That is exactly how Evangeline says oh every time we explain something to her. "What's that?" "That's a bank designed to look like a Greek temple, because we all worship money, or something like that" "Ohhhhhhh."

The other day, Angelique came up to me and went "I love her ohhs", and you know what? I love them too.

Today, we were playing the silly game, and I asked Evangeline if I was Mommy, and she said no, I was Connie. So I asked if Angelique was Daddy, or Nanen, and then finally who the heck she was... And Evangeline paused, so you could really see those gears spinning, before coming out with "Mama!" About herself, she said she's "the baby". Which I guess she is.

I love them, you know.
