Wish I had a share of the grant money for every study of the past forty years that's confirmed what I had already observed. Yes, babies are altruistic and cooperative, though not all the time, and all these young child psychologists would be much cannier if they'd worked in the day-care as undergrads.

Poor Tasimi - "barely noticed" the clot of gangstas he walked through till they punched him in the head; second-guessed himself out of paying attention to the teenagers who followed him - it was probably his walking like prey which caught their eye in the first place. If this guy is going to be a behaviorist, he would do well to start focusing on the actual human behavioral environment around him, especially the parts of it that signal Danger.
