I should've had the boxes to mail them, and the stamps, before I even got the oven heated up. So now I'm going to pre-label some boxes so that next time I convince Jenn to help me, I'll be all ready to go. That should be in a month. Otherwise... I'm sorry.

But here we are, talking, and we're discussing for some reason the layout of our apartment on 18th avenue. I can see it so clearly, too... And Jenn mentioned "the refrigerator was here, I used to climb on top of it..." and as she did, I was struck with the memory that I climbed on top of it too, all the damn time! I don't know how I forgot, since it's not like I've since stopped climbing on top of things. I routinely perch standing on our kitchen sink to fix the curtain, for example, and I suspect I climbed on top of the fridge over here a few times as well....
You wouldn't think that'd be the kind of thing one just forgets, would you?
(Incidentally, I have no intention of relating this story to either nieceling until they're too old to do something so stupid)
