Don't fucking insult people I know.

Don't fucking insult a good portion of my friends list.

Don't fucking advocate for the death of a good portion of my friends list, especially not by doing this in very vague terms which could be interpreted to mean very nearly anything.

That's not fucking cool.

You know who you are. And you had better pray that you never find yourself in an unpleasantly ironic situation, because I'll just sit back and laugh.

Because I can't imagine how any reasonably minded person would just proclaim an entire group as being "self-righteous". Yes, I'm sure life and death situations can be summed up entirely as "right, logical" and "self-righteous". I don't even call anti-abortion advocates self-righteous, and youse guys *know* I have strong feelings on that side.

Something [livejournal.com profile] leora said made me think.

Of course, my sense of hearing isn't my least favorite sense to lose. That'd be my sense of touch, then hearing, then sight, then balance, then smell, then taste. But, of course, mainstream society likes to pretend those other options don't exist. We're all caught up on this whole binary system for everything, aren't we?

I mean, besides [livejournal.com profile] griffen? [livejournal.com profile] wispfox.

Go read the latest. *hugtackles all linkyfriends*

I just spoke to Kissa. Long time no chat! She sounds like she's doing well, so that's a good thing :)

Filled with links both interesting and varied. I revel in the light of the links, and marvel at their... linkiness.

Bit of a note. Griff has it up in his entry, but it bears repeating: don't start fights in his journal. I don't think youse guys would do that on purpose, but don't do it accidentally either. That's not cool.

*grins*

Not likely to come up, but I want to make *sure* it doesn't come up.

You know what? I hate this phrase. It's stupid. Professor X is differently abled. Daredevil is differently abled. Cyclops? Differently abled.

You? Well, if being in a wheelchair or blind or deaf has suddenly given you some sort of superpower that the vast majority of the world doesn't have - sure. I guess Stephen Hawking is, in a way, differently abled because he's so brilliant :) But otherwise, you're not.

You already knew that, of course. I'm preachin' to the choir here. But if I ever find the person who came up with that phrase, I'll punch him/her straight to the comics, let them teach the *real* meaning of "differently abled".

Oh, and handicap? Nothing to do with cap-in-hand, or with begging. It comes entirely from games. You may or may not think the word is offensive, but please, base your opinions on facts, not urban myths.

Oh man...

SG1? Eee! And BSG? EEE! Atlantis, I watch only out of a sense of duty, and because it's between my two favorites. But it was decent anyway.

Mommy's still not home.

Oh, and I remember why I wanted to post! They were advertising a channel - mun2. Mundos. I think a small part of me just died.
