This site definitely has an agenda, so I'll have to check the information later. Just want to point something out: during Bush's first (shudder) four years, abortion rates rose. They'd been falling before that. Really, the best way to prevent abortion isn't to make it unattractive, difficult, or painful, it's to make other options simpler. If you can feed your kid, you're more likely to actually have this child. If you can trust that your children will get good health care, and good educations, you are less likely to abort. And if you have access to decent birth control, you're less likely to get pregnant when you don't want to be. Simple.

Today's update OF DEATH!

Ana wouldn't sleep, wouldn't eat. This has been going on for two days, so she was one cranky baby. Finally I plopped her in the swing and left - just in time for Jenn to sneak in (she didn't want Ana to freak) and startle me into screaming. Great. 'dul finally managed to get her to sleep, and, eventually, eat. She was much friendlier then.
Made a major improvement on my theoretical job-searching - I actually called people and am sending in resumes. It only took me, what, a year and a half to get this far?
Hurt my arm in an accident that was completely and totally 'dul's fault. Man, he sure does hold a grudge. Just because I pelt him with snow every time I see him, he thinks he should pelt me back. And with water. Making the floor wet. Ow....
Ana, again, is cute. When she's being friendly and sweet. She's not saying "daddy" as much anymore, it's all "Dooo! A-dooooo! Adooool!" and, when she gets it right "Abdul!". Very very very cute. As for her beloved daddy, he's getting his grant ceremony thing the day before my birthday, and is also NOT taking batleth lessons. Those are his friends. No, I don't know why, but man is this geeky.
Oh, and we lost both phone and cable/internet service today. I was *not* a happy Connie. Fortunately, the cable situation was resolved. I was so upset that I couldn't check the news...!
