Every chat turns into a frenzy to log on and off and get good colors.

Anyway, in REAL news, Seth is in the hospital. Again. He's got a bumpy, itchy rash ALL OVER him. He's HAD a rash, for about three weeks now, but it's been spreading, and apparently as it spread, his temperature went up. Slowly, yes, but it's gone up, it's now at, what, 102F?

And nobody knows what it is. They're running all sorts of tests on him, and they have no idea what it is. And this is on top of everything else with him. 'dul is right, his first name is Poor, as in Poor Seth, Poor Sethy, Poor Kid.

I want examples like that in my linguistics class when I next take one!

Mommy spent the whole day with Ana. And this night, while we were eating (the dinner was wonderful, if I do say so myself, which I do, obviously), she went over what Ana had done today. It's really amazing, they used to learn a new skill every few weeks or so, and now they're learning something new every day, or twice a day. But I digress. One of the things Ana's really catching onto, Mommy said, is the idea of pointing. You point to something, she'll look at it.

I have very clear memories of people pointing at things and me standing there going "stop pointing, I don't understand it, just TELL ME what you want me to look at". So as Mommy's talking, I had to interrupt her to say "I never did that, did I?". Not ever, apparently. Which, of course, leads Jenn to say that I still have a hard time figuring out what people are pointing out. And here I thought I was doing so well. :(

Seth looks a LOT worse than I realized. ALL over his face, ALL over his chest, ALL over his crotch, and on his back too. It doesn't look as bad on his back because he can't scratch it.

We also took a surprise trip to the nursery to visit Lizziey's godmother Karen's daughter. The girl is being put up for adoption, which is good. Her mom tried right up until the end to abort via alchohol and drugs. But she looks healthy, and cute, so it's all right now.

It's a very nice hospital, very friendly, not TOO far away from us, very well run, shaped like a swastika, no I'm not kidding. If you look at the map, it's very clear, this is a swastika shaped hospital. I have no idea how this design passed.

And that's about it. Seth's been tired, and cooped up waaaay too much. He's staying one more night, at least (I suspect he'll be staying MINIMUM most of this week) so I'm visiting again tomorrow with some toys.
