We took Ana swimming.

Or rather, we held her cautiously away from the water as she studied the people actually in the water and decided that, maybe, just maybe, it wasn't gonna kill her to hold her mommy's hand while her mommy stood up at the edge of the pool. *rolls her eyes* Before we took Ana out, Jenn attempted to teach me, once more, to swim. I, as always, panicked the second I was on my stomach in the water (in all of four feet of water, I was going to drown, of course) but I'm a few steps ahead of Ana in that I do not actively fear the water, I merely distrust it. The way I see it, water knows it's already got 70% of my body, it's just waiting to grab up the remaining 30% for itself.

In other news, Jenn is going to kill Uncle Gabriel for being a pompous ass and bossing his mother around. *sample conversation*

G: You've got your scizzors in the other room.
B: What?
G: I'll try this again. Your SCIZZORS. Are IN. THE OTHER ROOM!
B; (mumblemumble)
G: *deep sigh*
*short break, about a minute*
B: (something I couldn't hear)
G: Look, Ma, I'm busy!
Jenn and Me in the bathroom: *shocked gasps and giggles*

Honestly, I don't know why she puts up with it. She used to be a terror with a flyswatter, and now she lets him walk all over her. But I can't tell her to stop letting him do that without being nearly as bad as he is. And you'll notice, there are no flyswatters in this house.
