I'm going to see the last movie next Wednesday, that should be fun. It had better be good, better than the previous one... which, let's face it, could've been better. Especially that cheesy ending, urg. But what do you expect? Not all movies can be good. And it didn't *suck*, it just... could've been better.

Does my thinking all the people in Zion were crazy to want to get out of the Matrix make me weird? Because, seriously, I don't get it. In the matrix, people were generally happy. Outside of it, everyone was miserable. Really. And the world SUCKED. Inside, good, outside bad.

And here's another question: Why don't the programs revolt? They're in the same position as the humans, trapped inside the matrix to serve the machines, but they act like they're so special. And they're NOT. They're as trapped as the rest of us.

And what exactly do the machines do besides oppress humans (and programs)? Don't they have anything better to do with their time? I mean, I *know* humans didn't design them to oppress humanity, so they must be doing something in their spare time! Or maybe they don't think they're oppressing humanity... it goes back to what I said, maybe they think the matrix is GOOD for people, and think of themselves as our saviours. Hm...

Okay, I'm posting this *here* because I don't wanna post it in syn_promo right now...

If anyone likes the comic For Better or For Worse, they've got a feed at fbofwfeed you can sign up for. If any of you knows anyone who reads that, tell them, 'k? I like it, and I'd like for more than 6 people to be reading that.

And a random rant, why do people make more than one feed of the exact same site? What's the point? Don't they *check* first? It's not that hard to go here and find the list of all the recently updated syndications, is it? And then you just use ctrl + f to find the sites you like, and it's done! Agreed, after a point there's little profit in adding more members to your syndication, but when half the people watching scientific american are on one syndication, half at another, and a lonely 4 at a third, that's just messed up. They'd profit at least slightly if they all went to the same syndication, wouldn't they?

Ever feel like you should know more about something and you don't?

I don't mean school stuff, I mean... like, given the right circumstances, you'd be obsessed with something you're not, or you'd actually have a reason for knowing stuff you know? *sighs* That's incoherant. Let me try again.

I have a number of friends who are into anime. You know who you are. This has done two things for me. 1. I've learned more about anime than most people who don't watch anime know. I even know what manga is. 2. Reverse peer-pressure has kept me from getting into anime.

I have a few friends who are ratfans. You know who you are. EVERYONE knows who you are :) This has done a few things for me. 1. I know a bit more about rats than the average person, however, as I have less rat friends than anime friends, the effect is lessened. 2. I am obsessed with Ziggy's rat licks picture. I don't have rats

And so it goes. I always have this vague feeling like either 1. I know stuff that, given my lack of obvious interest in the subject I shouldn't or 2. I would be more interested in a subject except I don't want my friends to know how they've influenced me.

I have 403. Mommy has <200 (don't recall exactly how much...) and Jenn has... THIRTY SEVEN POINTS. I am *so* winning! Yay! WOOHOO! *dances around insanely* I never win against these people, so this is good good news. Not good news, but GOODgood.

And more news on the babies, or Ana, anyway. She now eats TWO solid foods. Mashed up bananas and mashed up rice. Seth, due to a medical condition, has been on solid foods for what, half his life? so he has a much larger collection of foods he eats, but for Ana, this is a huge accomplishment. And I love her *what-the-fuck* face she gets when she tries something new. I mean, she keeps going for the food, and helping put the food in her mouth, but she gets this look like she wants to break down and cry after every bite. Then she swallows and reaches for some more. Weird little kid. Her bottom teeth are coming in quite nicely, she's got two you can see. SOOOOOOOO cute! *huggles the kittengirl* And she can propel herself forward with amazing skill. She can't exactly crawl, but she can get her butt up, move her knees forward, and slump onto her face before trying again from step one, moving forward at about 3 inches per step. Crawl? Movement? Pathetic attempt at propulsion? Whatever.

She's so cute. I'm taking baby pics of her and Seth for their respective half birthdays, Lizziey? This is your official warning. You had better be here for that! I want pictures of the two of them together! I promised my Latin class that I'd make them look at pictures, and for that I need pictures to make them look at. Funny how that works, right? If there's demand, I'll post them here as well, of course.
