Bad. Very bad.
Oct. 30th, 2003 07:38 pmMy latin class today? Not so good. Oh, we had fun and all, and we heard all about how Professor Dunkle was a horrible little brat when he was a kid, absolutely incorrigible, but when it came to translating...
*shudders*
I was messing up simple stuff, stuff I learned back in high school! Okay, stuff I learned then and forgot, but still, I mean beginner stuffs! *dies* TOO embarassing.
Though I did mostly have fun blowing bubbles before class... until this bitchy woman walked by saying (in that nasty tone of voice people get, not the nice, helpful tone which would've made the statement okay): "That's not a good idea. You'll make the floor all slippery". And I'm sitting there thinking "yeah, for about FIVE SECONDS before it dries". But I don't say that, of course, I just say, nice and polite, "well, I thought of that, but it dries quickly..." which gets NOTHING in the way of niceness from her, just a repeat of comment one, with same inflection and all.
So I just went in the Classics Library and stood in front of the window, the constant draft blew the bubbles for me, right into the hall again *giggles*. And yes, Michael-who-isn't-reading-this, I *was* having fun, why on earth did you think I was doing that, to torture and torment myself? *rolls eyes*
Still, I have got to do something about this Latin, I should not have been having so much trouble with simple stuff, and I have no idea what caused it. *sighsighsigh*
