Date: 2013-01-21 05:43 am (UTC)Not true! Between the two was that hookworm therapy for autoimmune disorders. The one where they harvest the hookworms by waiting for them to conveniently crawl out of the stool of a previously hookworm-infected person. They're administered to the patient orally. I'm pretty sure fecal transplant is only the grossest development in medicine since then. HTH! :D
