And this is almost certainly unintentional.
Predictably, the comments are all "What if they're just following their kid's interest? What if you say to your toddler "Look at the two beds" because he's a boy and cares more about numbers, but to your other toddler "Look at the red bed and the green bed" because she's a girl?"
That's a paraphrase of an actual comment, people, to which I have nothing to say but "ARGH! YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT TWO YEAR OLDS! OMG! YOU TWIT!" but that's perhaps not blunt enough. Do you think it adequately captures my feelings on the subject?
