We had power, we had water (in the pipes, none where it wasn't supposed to be!), the gas wasn't shut off, nobody got hurt... but we lost cable for a day, including internet.

Well, can't have everything.

Indeed, the storm pretty much fizzled in our area. But just upstate they were badly hit. I don't get how they could get hit WORSE when they're further north and more inland, but....
