Yes, there are some lack of "equiptment to learn" but that doesn't mean that you can't fake it. That's what a lot of therapy is for autistic kids: teaching them to fake it. And even if it isn't really there, at least they get approval from society for more normalized behavior, and quite frankly getting less ridicule would make anyone happier, unless you're a glutton for punishment.

WTF? If I go up to somebody and punch them because I don't like them, that's not their fault, it's mine. If I get raped, it's not because of how I dressed or where I was, it's because somebody out there wanted to commit a crime. But when I get ridiculed for being different, then it's all my fault, and the aggressor gets off scot-free because *I* should change. Of course.

*rolls her eyes loudly*

And no, I don't want to hear that it's harder to get bullies from being so stupid, I don't fucking care. The only behaviour I am responsible for is my own. Only very young and stupid children can honestly say they don't know better than to pick on others.
