Stupidest story... the other day I was waiting for the boat, and it was at least half an hour away. Most of the seats were filled, and I wasn't about to stand, so I approached a woman who had her bags on the seat next to her (the person with her had his bags on another seat, but I didn't realize they were together yet).

Me: Excuse me, can I sit down please? *points*
Her: That's where I have my bags.
Me: *flabbergasted*

Before I could recover, her boyfriend/brother/husband/whatever spoke up and said he'd move his bags to her "bag seat" and I could sit there. Just as well, I can be bitchy to stupid people.

Incidentally, it's now confirmed, backdated entries don't show up on friends pages. The entry above this is one of those, click into my main journal to read it (unless you don't want to listen to my further autism amazement).

Something sort of like that (but kind of opposite) happened to me a couple years back. I'd gotten on the bus and put my backpack on the seat next to me (like I usually do, and still do) then some woman came on and I started to move my bag (not grudgingly might I add!) she just glared at me and said,
"Seats are for people not backpacks!"
And then walked away and found another seat. I was moving the stupid bag you idiot woman! Before you even asked me to do it!
