Lizziey is the one who introduced me to the joys of funfetti cakes. Boy, those are good, even if they ARE from a mix. (But I could copy the mix easy.)

Rainbow cupcakes (yes, with natural food dyes....) also have that fun, cool, pretty look.

Hey, there's a bake sale coming, and you can bake your own food. Hee. Can one, theoretically, do colored cupcakes WITH rainbow sprinkles inside? You know, dye the funfetti?

If you can't find goat or buffalo sour cream, you could strain the yogurt through cheesecloth to get a similar consistency, and the flavors are close enough to work for most purposes.

The local health food store/co-op here has goat sour cream....dunno why it wouldn't be around where you live.
