While that video is awesome, I have to admit that right now I'm more excited that you wrote "ablist". I've been seeing "ableist" so much that I was getting ready to write a rant about it, and it's a bit of a relief to see that at least I'm not the only one. *shifty eyes*

To be honest, I went back and forth on the spelling of that one.

When I first came across the term, I saw it written as ableist and - not being a native speaker of English - went around wondering what on earth "ab-leism" might be - the tendency to move away from lions? or might it have something to do with law? what?!- until I finally got it. "Ablism" I would've understood at once, and by normal English morphologic convention it should be ablism or abilism, not ableism. Able-ism would be a possible compromise, I suppose, but I haven't seen that used yet.

(Unless of course it's an elaborate joke on being able to follow English word formation rules, and people complaining about said inability - like I am - are promptly... ableist. *ducks and hides*)

I might add that that guy has also addressed homophobia in his vids, among other -isms. He said something I really liked - maybe he was quoting someone else, I don't know, but he said something to effect of, "If a man killing a man is okay, but a man loving a man is wrong, then you'd better reevaluate your concept of manhood."
