Player's Ruse. Out in time for my birthday. Remind me!

ooohhh thank youuuuu I am doing the Librarything 101010 challenge and I made myself a category "YA/Children's books from Anglo-Saxon countries" simply because I've read so few of those, growing up (and when my American friends go "Wrinkle in Time this, Wrinkle in Time that" I'm the only one who doesn't have a clue, it's annoying!). And I was thinking of what to read and I completely forgot about Hilari Bell.

I've just read two Philip Pullman books (Butterfly Tattoo and Gas-Fitters' Ball; I've read His Dark Materials last year) and the next up are probably Watership Down and Voices by Le Guin (I still have to find a cheap copy of Powers somewhere). I also need to finish Princess Bride and read A Wrinkle in Time, but I only have digital versions for both of those, and the huge HEAPS of actual physical books which are swamping the living room (I took good advantage of seasonal sales) take priority.

Yes, but I've already read stuff by her on your recommendation and liked it! I also want to read books by authors I already like, not just the Great Classics. (Playing it safe :D )

Hey, thanks for the reminder - I had been wondering when her next book in that series was coming out. It's also thanks to you that I found out about Hilari Bell in the first place.
