She wanted to fingerpaint, so I set that up. First it's "No, I want to really use brushes" (tough luck, I don't know where they are at the moment), then it's "I can't do it myself" and then (when I'm done helping her) it's "I don't want to do it myself/clean up" and then it's "If you put me in time-out for neither painting nor cleaning up, I'll go to my ROOM instead" and then it's my personal favorite "I'm not ever going in time-out".
Word to the wise: If you're three? Don't say that. Connie is bigger than you. Up, down, hey - you're in time-out!
