I refuse to play the game, but I've gleaned some choice quotes from somebody who did.

Okay, okay... please, dad, do whatever you can to help me. I'm filling up with regrets, up to overflowing already.

Because she can't have no regrets. Everyone has regrets, even those who don't feel against abortion at all.

Fr. David: The Church is against abortion because abortion is an act of violence. It ends the life of a human being who has been created in the image and likeness of God. God gives life... and only He can take it away. If we could take it away from others, we would be making ourselves into God.

GIRL: I don't think pregnant women would like to hear those strong words,"Thou shalt not kill."

They're such very strong words, oh yes. And no pregnant woman could stand to hear them!

Fr. David: Well, science tells us that conception is the beginning of a new unique human individual, because the Bible teaches that God is the One from who all life comes.

Science teaches no such thing. That is a personal belief formed by people primarily on (as he mentioned) religious evidence... not scientific.

GIRL: I just don't know what's gonna go through my mind when I get to the clinic.
FRIEND: Just think about other things... beautiful things, pretty things. You know... your favorite places, your favorite people, your favorite things. Don't think about what's going to happen. You'll see... it'll be over in no time! Next week we'll be celebrating your decision. Are you going to let this abortion affect you for the rest of your life?

Some friend. Apparently, when your friend is having spiritual angst over a difficult decision, the best idea is to throw a party. Because, y'know, anyone who's pro-choice is also an insensitive clod who can't muster up enough compassion to fill a thimble.

NURSE: Doctor, I'm having trouble. I've tried twice... her veins keep collapsing.
DOCTOR: Let me try then.
GIRL: (scared and nervous) Can I just come back another day? I'm really scared... I just want to leave now and go home!
DOCTOR: (He acts very mean and nasty!) Look, if I let you leave now, you will never come back. Let's just get this over, okay?
GIRL: Wait a minute... I said to stop!!

Malpractice suit. Doctors are so scared of that, they wouldn't dream of acting this way.

GIRL: I told the doctor to stop... I told him... he must not have listened! (crying) What have I done? What have I done?
NURSE: Well, you have signed up and paid for an abortion. That is what you said you wanted done. Let's be an adult now, dear! It's over... be grateful... and get a little something to eat before you go home.
GIRL: Let me ask you one question, Nurse.
NURSE: Yes?
GIRL: Do you hear the sound of the little aborted babies crying here... when all the patients are gone and you're here alone?
NURSE: (angrily) Enough already! I call this "patient abuse"... young lady, you made your choice. Now have something to eat... enough of the hysterics! I'll be back later.

NO SYMPATHY! My god, this is what I call medical malpractice, but the site says this happens every day, so it MUST be true!

And the infamous quotes in the original link. Dear God. If people actually believe this crap, it is a very very sad world we live in. I doubt anybody will be influenced by this, though, from what I've seen the "game" itself isn't nearly as subtle as the site it snuck in on. Good thing, too, this sort of manipulative rhetoric is... is... something, I don't have words for it.

There's pictures too... the "girl", aka "kiddo" looks to be in at least her 20s, the doctor looks like a bad Arab stereotype. Gah! Gah gah gah! Piffle! No more quotes though, just when her friend realized she was horrificly depressed )because everyone who has an abortion goes through this), it switched to the doubting-God game.

I wanted to add... There's a sex game leading to the abortion game. It's either fuck or not fuck - no protection options. Then they get into how protection isn't safe that the only safe sex is no sex. (What would you bet me they're anti-self lovin'?)

BOY: Which makes me wonder... what really made you say "yes" when I asked you out?
GIRL: You have the cutest, disarming smile.
BOY: And that made you go out with me?
GIRL: It's what pushed me over the edge.
BOY: Good thing. I always say it's a killer!
GIRL: I mean, I had my doubts but... your smile threw them out the window.
BOY: Wow... huh! You really don't know much about me. How do you feel about sharing some weed? I don't usually smoke but my brother brought some home today and I thought of us tonight and asked him for a joint. Would you like to try it?

Hah, no I dont' mind that you linked to me. :)

If you play the sex game, you don't have the choice to use protection, which then goes into the abortion game (OMG, I'm pregnant!). Then if you have a second-trimester abortion, you try to kill yourself.

Bah...

DOG: *woof... woof*
GIRL: (To herself) .I can't believe it... we.. finally did it! I wonder what Adam really thinks of me?

Malpractice suit. Doctors are so scared of that, they wouldn't dream of acting this way.
I had a surgeon acquaintance who hit a coworker(least, I don't think it was a patient), and she got sacked- 'cept she was on contract, and they had to pay the rest of her salary for the contract. £750,000- that's what, 1.3 million dollars? She was quite happy with it...

GIRL: Do you hear the sound of the little aborted babies crying here... when all the patients are gone and you're here alone?
Is it just me, or is that an oxymoron? Aborting the babies means they *won't* cry.

*nods* It was the NHS, which isn't the same as the USA with its effectively private healthcare.

I personally think it's a good thing that the nurse isn't hearing voices, anyway.

I cringe when I see things like that... There are much better arguments, much better ways of trying to convince people. Stuff like that just makes the whole movement look bad... Sigh.

Why do we have to have such idiots representing us? I swear we're not all like that.

I played the game. I hated it. The ideas and concepts presented were absolutely ridiculous, they didn't give you a clear concept of abortion and didn't give you enough to say. This made me hate that idea even more.
Go pro choice.
