I do not, to my knowledge, sneeze because of sunlight. However, I sneeze a lot, so maybe I do. I do find it weird, but have heard of it before, so not that weird. I do not know why it happens. I am allergic to the outdoors (the plants really and sometimes the animals and sometimes the stuff the humans have on them) so sneezing when outdoors is common. I also often have a cold or flu. And currently I live with cats, which I am allergic to. So, I sneeze a lot.

I usually sneeze in batches, I did my best to estimate. I'm not sure what my average or median is.

I hate hiccups. I don't know of anything that works to stop them, but I sometimes try holding my breath.

Not a sneezer really. When I hiccup I do the water or hold breath thing and that usually takes care of it.

Hubby is a YOOOGE sneezer, as is the kid. Neither sneezes at sunlight.

My friend's son does sneeze at sunlight/bright light and it's the most delightfully hilarious thing. He's done it since he was very wee.

I sometimes sneeze at sunlight (but not usually).

I cure hiccups by taking a deep breath, then shallow breaths out and in keeping my lungs at least mostly full all of the time until the hiccups subside (usually not very long with that method).

I get rid of hiccups by downing about two-three shots of straight cordial(which is a flavoured sugar syrup). Works every time.

I don't sneeze due to sunlight, but my mom does.

Usually, when I sneeze, it's anywhere from two to four times in a row, most often three. Never understood why such a specific number.

I usually just wait out hiccups. None of the traditional remedies ever seem to work for me; if anything, they just prolong them. =P

Nothing quite fit for the first; mine is more like "Huh? Sneezing at sunlight? Oh wait, I had heard something about that somewhere. Photopic thingy or something, wasn't it."

Which isn't quite "I know about it", so I picked "weirdest thing I ever heard".

For hiccups, one of two things will work for me:

Drinking a glass of water in one breath, very quickly (makes me feel a bit sloshy, but the hiccups are painful, so sloshy is better), or I look at a light and chant "Look at a light, think of a cow" which tends to make think think of friends wearing cow costumes, which sets me into laughing so hard that the hiccups have no room to get out.

Drinking water helps best, though.

I know all about people sneezing from sunlight, but I still think it's the weirdest thing I ever heard.
Also, these days I generally try to stop my hiccups by swallowing several times while holding my breath.
