1. Man, Parkman needs to learn a better way to get a girl. Because that line's just creepy.
2. Last week, I read an online complaint about Future!Peter. Apparently, there's a limit on how much Peter one fandom can take. And the writer was correct, more or less... but am I the only one who thought Peter/Peter was totally hot? (And does that mean I've now descended into the 29th level of hell or something?)
3. So, all this hunt-and-find was just so Speedy-Girl-Whose-Name-I-Didn't-Bother-To-Learn could find out how EEEEEEEEBUL the (new) Company is? Pointless. (Though, her "Kill Ando?!?" this week was just as cute as last! She and Ando totally need to hook up.)
4. Seriously, it's like they don't even listen to me. Here I am, watching Peter see his father and I'm all DON'T FUCKING HUG THE MAN! YOU ALREADY KNOW HE'S EVIL! and what does he do? He hugs his damn father! I told him not to.
4a. Of course, it would never have happened if Peter hadn't been too strong by half and then some.
5. You know, I didn't say this last week, but... doesn't Nathan have, like, a real family? I mean, his first thought always seems to be to Claire and the various Nikki clones/incarnations/triplets instead of his other children and, you know, wife, and it wouldn't be so jarring if he ever mentioned them in passing or showed pictures of them, but that doesn't happen, does it?
6. So, new pre-cog has his entire life and cool-ass skills for one purpose only? To enlighten everybody else and stay in his damn desert? I've heard of the Magical Negro trope, but this seems especially egregious.
7. I always thought that Sylar's little problem came from his overbearing mother and feelings of inadequacy? I mean, he wasn't like that until after he was told he didn't have powers, remember? Of course, Peter doesn't just pick up powers, he really does pick up personality traits. Clearly, hanging around Sylar and hearing him pontificate on "the hunger" is what made Peter crazy.
8. I'm glad that Ando isn't dead. He's got the best power - the power of staying sensible when everybody else is being silly as all heck. For real.
9. Is Peter's actual ability to drain powers as well as just share them, like his dad?
10. This episode made no sense whatsoever and yet, I loved it. I don't know why!
