I have 333 books over at LibraryThing and Goodreads, and a whopping 383 reviews over at Amazon.

I am officially impressed with myself.

Three hundred and eighty three, that's right :)

Of course, I keep wanting to nag my friends and family to go over, read the reviews, and vote them helpful (only if they're actually helpful, of course). All the other people with 131 (or however many it is) helpful votes only have, like, 20 reviews, and it looks silly. (I've kinda been churning these out...?)

Yeah, I just checked it out just now. =) Unfortunately, since most of those are children's books I've never read (most of which were published long after I passed childhood), I am not qualified to say how helpful most of your reviews on them are. =( And it's been too long since I read the few that I do remember having read at all (namely, the Dr. Seuss and Curious George books).

However, I liked your review on the Candyland game. It's been ages since I played that one, also (so I scarcely remember anything about it), but I didn't realize how much of it was just based on chance and that it may well be as overrated as you said.

Eh... I say at least hint to them to do so. ;)

It's entirely based on chance. Unless you stack the deck. Then it's based on who stacked the deck :P

As far as children's books go... well, that's what my nieces are, of course :)

You should read more picture books. They're good for the soul. *nodnodnod*
