Which I don't. I do think he needs more encouragement, considering his situation as compared to Ana's, though. And I think he'd be smarter if he stopped rushing into things, which inevitably ends up with him smacking his head on the floor. What am I expected to do, wax rhasphodic about how clever Ana is with communicating, and how she never forgets what she's learned, and how she's persistant at learning them? Maybe next time. That stuff, while more important, is less interesting, and you forget the important part, which is that I see her every day and focused a lot on how very much she understands (which I can't say for Seth, Jenn). Maybe you can filter my posts through somebody else's eyes for a change, Gingerdear.

Rereading the original post, I see that in your paragraph about Ana you tried to focus on her accomplishments as well, however it comes across differently (in my view).

Well, he DID. What am I going to say? That she doesn't shake her blocks? I don't think it's because she's slow, I think she likes the noise better. And I've never seen him understand me half as well as she does (unless you've seen him start hitting the wall with the spoon because I said it'd sound different?).

And he does pick at the pull and push and flip stuff on the blocks. She doesn't. She likes to shake 'em and listen to the different noises. She can also sing, unlike Seth. *giggles* Have you ever heard of a baby singing Super Mario songs before?
