I love a good conspiracy theory, but I believe this is probably just more... people being people. Doing what makes them look bad, and denying that they do it, all at the same time.

Yes, it was a big part of his term, but what he did after it is much more.. pertinent to the election. It was horrible, it really truly was, and I can't understand how while he's trying to make it hit home to win over people, how he can make it seems like a statistic.
Does that make any sense? I mean, my dad is always 'The goddamn liberals are forgetting 911! (Nine, one, one. Yes.)' If you care so much about our citizens, why are you spending money you could be NOT TAKING AWAY from education to go to glory wars? :\
