The trouble with news like this...
Mar. 29th, 2004 12:49 amIs that you know it's somewhat biased, but you don't know if that means it's incorrect.
So. I will simply post an easily verifiable quote.
"I would like to outlaw contraception...contraception is disgusting – people using each other for pleasure." -Joseph Scheidler, Pro-Life Action League
*gags*
For god's sake, sex is disgusting, but fortunately, we've evolved in such a way that most of us overlook that most of the time, so we can spread our genes into the future. We do that by ENJOYING sex. That's what it's for! Even more fortunately, many of us have since learned that we should concentrate on quality instead of quantity and have very few children.
I really don't understand this creepy logic. Honestly.
I'll do some research later this week and decide whether or not I believe this editorializing.

There's a small, hard-core percentage of Catholic activists who not only wish to outlaw abortion but all forms of birth control. He's a spokesman for them.

I always wonder about people that're anti-contraception. They've always got tons of kids, so they must not think sex is THAT dirty.
