Date: 2008-05-21 10:52 pm (UTC)Toilet bowls are, as I said, cleaned with harsh substances pretty often, and flushed with large amounts of water at every use. Most of what goes into toilets from the human body (pee) is sterile.
Ice machines... not so much, which is why, as the comments to that article indicate, they're often filled with ickies like e. coli (ew) and SLIME IN THE ICE MACHINE!!!!!!!
