Seriously.
And do you know why? Because Admiral Ro was completely right about everything - and, in a way, so was Adama, by his actions. What difference *does* the chain of command make when there's nobody else and the world is over? Adama, wrongheaded as he is in some areas, understands that. That's why he's lenient with his ship, much good may it do him, and that's why he runs the fleet jointly with Roslin. Admiral Ro doesn't seem to get it at all. It's like she thinks that by holding on to the rules, she can bring back the world. Well, it's not like that, and if the people don't want to follow the rules, what're you going to do, shoot them as an example to the others? Eventually, you'll have to order the last soldier to shoot himself as an example to himself, and that's no fun. Negotiating with wrong-headed Adama, maybe by giving back all his men in exchange for all her men, then going their separate ways, would've been much more profitable for both parties than having a raiding party or ten on both sides.
Not that Adama's that clever. What's to stop her from shooting Helo and Tyrol on the spot? (Loved their little collaboration bit, by the way. That was great.)
Good episode. All I got to say on it.
So, today, Ana was eating something and she wanted to say that it was yummy. Except that after she said it, she decided that wasn't good enough, so she decides to rephrase it:
"Taste... taste... taste.... Tastes good!"
She's getting smarter by the day. Now if only we were clear on the whole distinction between "What's your name" and "What's your mommy's name". *sighs*
