I didn't especially want to. I feel guiltyish doing that sort of thing, like I'm greedy or speshul. If I do take a day, it'll have to be... um... January 31st.

jbcs: I 'fess up to that one. Last year was really difficult for me, and I decided around December that maybe a relationship with God would improve things. After doing some research I discovered that my beliefs most closely matched with Judaism, so I've been attending temple about every other week since then. I'm happy to talk about it more if you want, but unless prompted I'll assume you don't want all the gritty details :)

That's mostly the one I was curious about. To my mind, anybody who is converting to a religion must feel very strongly about it, or at least fairly strongly, and since I respect that, I like to know more about it.
