Turkey was yummy.
Dec. 25th, 2007 09:07 pmGravy (made with stock and drippings) was good, if a bit salty.
Mashed potatoes (made by the prodigal Elise, who was sent home but did not stay there anyway) were delicious.
Stuffing was fantastic.
EVERYTHING ROCKED.
And? Best part? I did not slave away all day, I merely toiled in a manner befitting one who works for love and/or money. I did stress, but not quite as much as I had expected.

Date: 2007-12-26 01:01 pm (UTC)Did you brine the turkey? 'Cos they don't recommend you make gravy from the drippings of a brined turkey. I take the innards & neck, cook them a long while in canned chicken/turkey stock and use that for making gravy.
