News from the Camp X-Ray.
Because I can't spell Guatanamoam properly.
I'm torn, so torn between "crap this is bad" and "well, that's what happens in prisons, regardless of innocence and guilt and sense". Of course, the second attitude shows my deep sense of apathy, but at least it doesn't require me to think too deeply. I'm going to check the news soon, see if it HAS been mentioned in the American news much. I suspect it hasn't, but I like to make sure.
And to keep you guys from getting too cheery, everybody's heard about what happened in Madrid by now, so let's turn to more traditional bombings and attacks, like the recent ones in Israel. Israel blames the Palestinian Authority for not doing anything to stop terrorism, but it seems to me that Israel isn't helpingmuch at all. People in Nigeria are pushing for harsher enforcement of sharia law, so we can expect to see more stonings, more petitions, more orphans and the like. In this country, we've got a Florida man convicted for raping a nine-month old baby, which fucking makes me sick. And I want to go into the woods, someplace far from here, and sleep. Maybe I can dream me up some sensible people.
