The podegi, I'd either like to match the mei-tai, or else in maybe the brown corduroy.
The kanga, either saying would do. I like the first one more, though I prefer the colors on the second.

Toy ana-sized slings would also be nifty. Hm....

Edit: Oh, Jenn, the class is $130. And I still have yet to take my CPR, must schedule that....

I rather like the third one, and am almost sure i'll spring for it. If you really like that one, i dn't mind buying two, in the blue obviously. Might have to wait a month though, if that is okay with you...

I'd like two for moi, to give me the added support of having two at one time (see their piccies - it's quite nifty) - but if you bought one, I could easily swing for a second for me. I can afford an $18 sling on my $300 a month :)

And I know Mayawrap sells child slings. Ana can improvise those with a mommyscarf, though. I'm thinking I'll get her one of wallypop's child size mei-tais, since I'll be using that one so much now.

Seriously, that thing is cool. If I get some spare money, want me to send you one? Or a pattern - but your sewing machine isn't up there, is it?

Mei-tai i have been looking into but they are so pricey, and topher needs a crib still. (getting semi-soon, found a whoel nursery in a box tyoe thing, crib (checked it, sturdy), changing table, and dresser, 200. Yeah, i'm all over it...

Wallypop.net (I believe - the site I linked to for "mei-tai") sells pre-made ones for $25. I was amazed. We custom-made mine, so we got a pocket and a toy ring and a pretty fabric, and it still only cost something like $45.

And mine appears to be quality work, not falling apart or anything like that. Mind, I've only had it a day.

Not that this makes the money appear in your bank account, but even I could afford to splurge for that if you wanted it, as your belated Christmas present or something.

I would love a mei-tai, i've been shopping around for one! didn't want to go uber-cheap because *I* know quality sewing (Damn you, Gina Bratter), and don't want crap on straps on my back.

I did try Ana in it, before I even *considered* putting the baby in. I put her in the front, which is less-than-ideal. I'll try her in the other positions (but not front facing front, just back and side) later.

It's so weird, Ana used to seem heavy, but now I think nothing of hauling her up in the middle of a tantrum (or even while sleeping), though I'm carrying her sister. It should seem heavier, but it doesn't.

For my birthday I want something I can't have, My Husband. But other than that, mmm...something for Topher (his birthday is three days later, remember!). I usually hate that, my present being for baby BUT! I am converting to cloth diapers, so, yeah, that would rock. :) Cloth Diapers all the way, i need them. I already have to wait a month top start, because I want to get a whole set before i start. Fuzzi bunz (I think) are the ones I am after, but any would do, really.

Seth, Thomas the tank engine books, or toy cars! He's easily pleased with cars, or of course, the magnetic letters we were talking about...

Melissa and Doug makes these flat magnetic "playsets" that go on the fridge, including a collection of magnetic vehicles. They also make wooden alphabet letters in capital and lowercase.
