Slings I want...
Mar. 17th, 2006 09:29 pmDragon Denim Onbuhimo.
The podegi, I'd either like to match the mei-tai, or else in maybe the brown corduroy.
The kanga, either saying would do. I like the first one more, though I prefer the colors on the second.
Toy ana-sized slings would also be nifty. Hm....
Edit: Oh, Jenn, the class is $130. And I still have yet to take my CPR, must schedule that....

And I know Mayawrap sells child slings. Ana can improvise those with a mommyscarf, though. I'm thinking I'll get her one of wallypop's child size mei-tais, since I'll be using that one so much now.
Seriously, that thing is cool. If I get some spare money, want me to send you one? Or a pattern - but your sewing machine isn't up there, is it?

Date: 2006-03-18 07:17 am (UTC)And mine appears to be quality work, not falling apart or anything like that. Mind, I've only had it a day.
Not that this makes the money appear in your bank account, but even I could afford to splurge for that if you wanted it, as your belated Christmas present or something.

Date: 2006-03-18 07:20 am (UTC)I would love a mei-tai, i've been shopping around for one! didn't want to go uber-cheap because *I* know quality sewing (Damn you, Gina Bratter), and don't want crap on straps on my back.
*wanders over to website...*

Date: 2006-03-18 07:23 am (UTC)Her website isn't the best one in the world. In fact, it kinda sucks. But that detered me not!
I'll probably buy my podegi from her as well, when it comes to that, just because.

Date: 2006-03-18 07:33 am (UTC)It's so weird, Ana used to seem heavy, but now I think nothing of hauling her up in the middle of a tantrum (or even while sleeping), though I'm carrying her sister. It should seem heavier, but it doesn't.

Date: 2006-03-18 07:26 am (UTC)Oh dear. If I really did say that last part, don't worry. It's only because I say it to the kid all the time. "Ana, don't beg them for strawberries. We have a perfectly good lunch RIGHT HERE. Stop being a mooch and sit down."
