Hi. The userinfo at

book_icons said that I could comment on your journal, so I'm going to ask my question here.

I recently posted five separate batches of children's-book illustration icons in

lecollage, and I'm wanting to share them with the members of

book_icons. I'm already thinking of linking to the tags section which will show all five of the posts, but I was wondering if it would be alright for me to use three teasers from each post followed by a link to each post? That would be fifteen icons, each set of three followed by a link to the particular post those three teasers came from. Would this be alright? If not, that's alright. I'll just post three teasers and then a link to the tags. If you're okay with me doing it like this, though, I would like to do that. (:

(: What do you think? The only reason I'm even bothering to ask is because of the fact that there will be five different batches of icons. I'm not asking for an exception to be made for me; I just think it would be better than making five different posts, heh. But if you're really 100% against with it, I'll go with what I said originally about posting three teasers and then a link to the tag. :D

In reality, that rule is more of a guideline - if people only post 5 teasers instead of the "allowed" 3, I'm far too lazy to care! Though 15 is a bit much, yes - so many people do have slow connections or computers, and if they're blinky icons it can additionally be very distracting to some of us.

So - yes to the five, no to the fifteen.

And you're right, it's easier (and more polite, I think) than posting five different times, and thank you again for asking :)

Thanks for responding so quick. I was really wanting to make the post ASAP (I tend to forget about making posts, after the initial desire has passed, aha), so the timely response was very nice. :D I'm glad you didn't mind my question! Again, thanks.
