conulyAnd the first person I called said "I was trying to find you all last week at the museum, so-and-so's husband just died".
This left me in the awkward position of calling this person to say "Sorry for your loss" at the same time as I was calling to say "but if you need to get out of the house in about a month, would you like to come to our party?"
Well, it *is* good to get out after a loved one dies, and she said it before I had to (thank goodness, it was a weird enough conversation as it was, and the last thing it needed was me being pointlessly preachy), but still.
She has a lot of family over right now, so she should be all right. She's never given any clue of totally hating her family, anyway. Jenn's taking this pretty badly, but I never knew the man, so I'm just... tangentially sad.
