Date: 2007-10-02 04:17 am (UTC)As far as I can remember:
* Claire vented about wanting to be who she was and about her dad not letting her even use her powers at home. Then started asking questions in bio class about whether humans would be able to regenerate like lizards, West told her she should read Activating Evolution, and she discovered her car was stolen.
* Mohinder got sent to Haiti to see another patient with the virus and bring him in. One guess who.
* Peter was tied up and got hit a lot by the Irish guys. (not loving this storyline btw)
* Maya and Alejandro showed up at the home of a woman who apparently was a family friend (she said something about being there when they were born), who was going to help them cross from Guatemala into Mexico. (Did you see the part with the curandera?)
* Matt was investigating Kaito Nakamuro's death, the only fingerprint that was found was Angela's, they decided to bring her in for questioning.
* Hiro tried to get Takezo Kensei to straighten up and right the wrong and save Yaeko, 'cept he was drunk, so Hiro stole his armor. (Not loving this one either.)
... But I'm sure that at least some of that didn't happen in the first 15 minutes?
And Claire's driving me a bit nuts also, but compared to the Irish gangsters storyline and the Takezo-Kensei-is-a-drunken-English-mercenary storyline, I'll take Claire's any day. Plus I love her car.

Date: 2007-10-02 04:26 am (UTC)You forgot the part where Kensei regenerates, by the way. I like the storyline only because, dude, Hiro saves the day, so I prefer that storyline to Claire being a stupid teenager. I mean, it's not her fault, statistically it's unlikely she'd have the healthiest sense of self-preservation... but still.
And Peter being tied up gives a lot of room for gratuitous nekkidness. You can't tell me a gratuitously shirtless Peter isn't something to enjoy.
