Elise's dad wants to walk her to school (yes, Elise is 13 years old), but that probably won't actually happen. I mean, we won't stop him, but we don't actually expect him to be here by 6:45 in the morning and we're not keeping her just because he isn't at the door. He swears she's going to school in a "dangerous neighborhood". Mind, if she'd been going to Curtis, the local school, he would have been totally okay with that, even though Curtis is a heck of a lot less safe than this school is. (Oh, Curtis, it's not a bad school, they do the best with what they have. They just have so many kids, and not enough space or funds.)
