While we're on the cool links, here's that one about how gay civil unions used to exist in medieval Europe. I don't know how compelling this evidence actually is, but it certainly is something to think about.

The clothing article misses the point. I want to dress babies in unisex clothes not because I think the baby will know the difference, but because it affects how other humans treat the baby, and I think that the way a baby is treated does affect the way it develops.

Oops, well then my idea of saying "medieval laws" in the USA is wrong. :-p I shall have to use another "outdated and uneducated" and less stereotyped terminology for this.
