We happened to be behind one of their trucks today. I definitely know some people who will appreciate this.

Date: 2007-08-28 02:26 am (UTC)We LOVE these light bulbs! My parents started using them about a year ago, and now allof us are hooked. They last longer, use less energy, and produce less heat. For example, the one in my bedstand lamp is well within touching reach, and the turn-on knob is at the top of the lamp head. It's nice that even if I touch the lamphead (or even the bulb itself!) after it's been on for a while, I won't burn my finger on it. Another benefit to the not-much-heat is that it's been hot (ugh sticky humid summer) so it's nice not to have the problem perpetuated indoors, even nearby at my bedstand.
