Is that you start thinking that the online world is something everyone lives in. A good number of the people I know IRL don't even know what AIM is, much less livejournal. No concept of the "blog", these people. Online games? Never played one, don't understand 'em. Friends you don't know off the internet? *gasps of shock and horror* And so on. These are people who think it's harder to type than to write, who don't even seperate their word documents into folders, much less bookmarks online (if they know what those are!). I mean, while I live online, I don't consider myself particularily geeky about it or especially adept, but man, maybe I need to get out more. Or they do....

This was totally random. You may return to normality whenever you wish. Djusk' a.

I've just been dealing with that... I'm avoiding telling my sister (or anyone else, for that matter) exactly how obsessed I am with Neopets... And she knows about Neocolours, we've just been picking out unis, but she doesn't know I'm a member of the forums. Much less that I'm the seventh-highest poster. Nor does anyone know I have a livejournal. It's a bit stressful hiding such a huge part of my life from them, but I'm not sure what to do about it.

My friends are pretty good with the net- we live quite far apart even though we go to the same school, and so we use MSN to talk to each other, since you can talk to multiple people and don't rack up astronomical phone bills. They know what Neopets is, but they don't know about NC, and I don't think I'll tell them.

You know, that is why the grand majority of my friends are as geeky as I am. Because in my opinion, it's become embarrasing to me that I go every goddarned morning to computing school to become a system analyst, while my classmates go to learn how to read their mails and be left without something else to do when they're done.

It's sucky... People IRL think my 'online friends' are less important. In actuality, though, you're* the most important thing in my life.

*(You of course referring to you, Cait, Angel, Lizziey, Jenn, and yeah. You know.)

Well, I'd never tell aboy
ut my best online friend, who is a transgendered, furry, deaf, cool, smart chick. I lurve the internet because it eets me be friends with people I'd never
normally meet. It helps me be nicer to not-normal people. I think. I hope so.

I gasp in horror at people who don't folder all of thier stuff.

I'm the same Lakidaa from neocolours, just so you know.
