Date: 2007-04-27 02:14 am (UTC)I don't think it's actually possible to restrict your life so you're never around children, ever. You couldn't go to the store that way, for example. I believe the restrictions are more like "can't live where kids congregate, can't be alone with children" and so on in most areas.
Having a place of worship to attend and people there who are willing to look past the offence might make it less likely for an offender to go back to their old ways.
Indeed, google tells me that church involvement and the like is one of the greatest ways to tell who *won't* do it again.
