Following are the requisite links to catch you up to speed on what she's doing now. Honestly, one toddler and another, they're less interchangeable than when they were babies, but not by that much :P

(I had another one, but it was no good.)
So, I've been letting her paint and glue a little at the SICM. She can really do it now! It's so cool!
And she does have the requisite six spoken words... if all six of them are "ba". Seriously, she's got bird, and book, and ball, and bubble, and balloon, and bread, and all-purpose "BA!" And a lot of signs.
OH, and caballito. It's a song they sing in the Spanish program, where the kid gets bounced, tickled, and flipped over in rapid succession. My life is full of her climbing onto my lap and saying "Abaeeeo?" while signing "again, again, again" at me. And if I say no, she says it louder, because clearly I wouldn't be so foolish as to deprive myself of the fun that is Caballito! Oh no, it's a mistake! (I hate Jenny, who taught us this song, I really do. I mean, I love her, but I do hate her.)
They've set up a crib for her in the room she shares with... uh... everyone. Hasn't tried to climb out yet. Is everlastingly trying to climb *in*, though!
She says almost everybody's name now - Nanen, Ana, Connie (or Ahnee, sometimes), Elise (Eees or Yees)... doesn't say Mommy or Daddy yet that I know of, though I think she still signs "milkmilkmilk" for "Mommy!"
She gets jealous. The other day, I put Ana up on my back, and this kid threw a half-hour screaming fit over it - and I'd originally been prepared to carry her as well, why not! But it's hard to do when the kid is kicking and screaming, and I wasn't about to take Ana down to make her stop crying, so we endured.
Unlike Ana when I started watching her (so she was older than the baby, and it went on for a while), this kid is all into circle time. She sits down (with no prompting from me! Usually nowhere even *near* me!), she follows along with the fingerplays, she sits through the story. I don't know if this is due to earlier exposure or just a different personality. Maybe a little of both.
She can't protest her early nap, she doesn't exactly have a nap schedule. If she seems tired, I put her up/down. Sometimes she asks to go up to fall asleep. Otherwise, she seems to nap fine on the bus - as soon as I break out that kindercoat, she's passed out :) They call it my magic coat over at the SICM. (I hope this streak of luck continues into summer....) Sometimes I put her up a few minutes, and put her down once she's refreshed. She doesn't seem sleep-deprived, so I've never spoken with her parents about a schedule, and they haven't mentioned it to me. (Oh, I know roughly when she's going to fall asleep, but she doesn't always do that, and it's not usually problem for us.)
She's teething (eeep! Again!).
She loves wiping up the table. Loves it so much, in fact, that I've caught her deliberately pouring out or spilling water just so she could wipe it up. All water drinking is now strictly supervised, with the warning that water in cups isn't for playing with and I'll take it away if she starts.
She loves books - more than "abaeeeo", I hear a lot of "ba?" as I'm getting a book shoved in my hands and a baby plopping down in my lap. "BA!"
She can and will put her hat on by herself now, which is awwwww.
She's less likely to do the "go where I probably shouldn't, wait for Connie to come after me, laugh and run away" trick now that I've taught her the word and sign for "chase". Instead of just telling her no, I remind her we can chase *inside* the room and we do that. Not only is she wandering a bit less, but she seems slightly less interested in chasing and catching, which is probably just as well. I mean, she still loves it, but when I say "Okay, now we're all done" she actually *stops*!
And that's it. Any questions?
