I PASSED ART HISTORY!!!!

Okay, so I only got a 68 on the final (and a similar grade on the midterm) but since I got an A- on the paper I managed a B in the class. It's *such* a pity grade, but I did earn it, pity or no.

You may now congratulate me.

Dude. Rock on!

Also, I wouldn't say it's entirely a pity grade. Sure, partly but your prof is also clearly acknowledging that because of the quality of your paper s/he has to question whether or not the problem was just not testing well.

congrats- you must have a very different mark thingy to us, because in GCSE Maths and History, for example, 68% would be an A, which is a great grade.

*laughs* I think you have to get about 20% to actually fail (higher) GCSE Maths. Most of the other subjects aren't that generous, though.

Weird. You must grade harder, or something... Anything above 90 here is an A, 80 is a B, 70 is a C, and 60 is a D (at my school, we ignore plus and minus).

Congratulations, Ulyyf. *hugs*

Probably- the grade boundaries in subjects before year 10 are about 75 A, 65 B, 55 C, 45 D, less than that an E (which isn't technically failing, though it doesn't go lower than that in reports)
