Date: 2009-04-14 01:11 am (UTC)I'm here via a comment you left in leora's journal regarding her inability to take polls without leaving comments because your radio buttons don't fit her as well as she'd like, and I'm bored and putting off sleep and so looking at the polls in question seemed like a good idea, and since you'd tagged them so nicely, I figured I might as well. I even answered the one about what you should bake for something (mint brownies and I want a recipe, but I can google around), even though I'm sure the baked goods are long eaten. I hope you don't mind, I'm just bored. :)
I'm hanging in there. 2009 has been incredibly sucky and I've been sick with strep throat (which was immediately preceded by the flu, so this is week 6 of the sick, but I'm almost better). i've missed hanging out with friends and stuff. i managed to worry my mother by having strep throat, and being sick and non verbal and having to pause to remember what word came next after each word in a sentence, so she's coming to visit me all the way from america next week, by which time i hopefully shall be even more better than i am now (i'm 90% better), because she sent an e-mail to a group of people here in Hungary, not realising I'm a member of said group, saying not to tell me but she's worried and wants to take me home with her (which would be bad for all sorts of reasons, the main one being that i have a life here and i need to be independent, not sitting on a couch in my mother's house waiting for months to be allowed to go home, like I was last summer.)
So I'm gearing up for two weeks of calming her down and being on my very best, fully functioning and capable adult behaviour.
How are you doing?
