1. If you're 18 months old, or a year, or however old that baby is, and you're taken from the woman who's always cared for you, and placed in a barren room with a bunch of strangers, and some other stranger picks you up so you stop crying - it's not because she recognizes her mommy. I know we all love the magic mama mojo, but... no. She prefered AthenaSharon to BoomerSharon because only one of them wasn't about to snap her fragile neck.

2. Even if you're the mom, picking up the baby doesn't guarantee they'll stop crying, especially when they're in pain and massively understimulated. Just a little warning for those of you considering or preparing for children. It doesn't work for anybody I know, not consistently. Sometimes, sure, but not all the time.

3. No wonder the Sixes hate the Sharons. They're all seriously in need of help.

4. I love Cylon infighting. I see it as a sign of growing maturity.

5. And Chief, be more competent. Eye of Jupiter. SUN. Duh!

6. Have they processed any algae into food yet?

7. Poor Gaius. Seriously.

8. Wow. Somebody really had a flair for the dramatic when setting up this one. Did anybody ever even worship at that temple, or was it just a chance for Cavill to appear and make it all Temple of Doom-y?

9. Seems all the Cylons are fundamentally flawed. I loved it when Cavill first pontificated about how few mistakes the Cylons had ever made in their (short) lifespan. Of course, they were big mistakes, and look who counted them up!

I have a very difficult time feeling sorry for Gaius at all. I see all his problems being pretty much self-inflicted. And despite his protestations of guilt, he's still always ultimately looking out for Number One. Makes it hard for me to have any sympathy for him.

Well, it's not like the Cylons can be expected to know much about babies, so I think it's understandable they'd leap to the conclusion "Oh look! Hera knows her mommy!".

Boomer got really bitter. I guess it shouldn't have been as much a surprise to me as it was, but it was. Damn.

Cally and Chief are having problems? I totally missed that memo.

The Cylon infighting amuses me too, and I think it seems like a sign of maturity because it actually brings them closer to human. I wish they'd show us more of the other models though.

For that matter, I feel totally gypped that they didn't show us the Final Five. I'm now afraid that they're never going to tell us, and that they're just going to keep dragging out that mystery forever, like Lost or the X-Files.
