Yanno I thought before clicking, "ahh I remember before I moved out here, hating hunting, and now understanding it, now that I am in the culture and see where hunting is useful".

And then I read it.

What an idiot, to cut it so close. If there is a need to hunt them, then as distasteful as I find it, then you do what you have to do. But to cut it so close to endangered? Does that man have ROCKS in his head?

What?!?! WE'RE the one threatening the wild habitats and populations as a species. But of course we HUMANS are too SPECIAL to be considered for population-distribution planning. Let's just kill the obvious OTHER hunters...wolves!! We want to be able to hunt for sport, it's more important than a few hundred stupid wolves!! {/sarcasm}

X-( People just...they...I...my brain's breaking...and so is my heart.

A good bureaucratic idea; the question is whether these twits are still amenable to being made to peacefully do their duties, or if feeding 'em to wild animals is the only remaining viable alternative. If the latter, the four-legged kind are much less cruel than us two-legged sorts.

best,

Joel

My *god* the human race is arrogant and overentitled! This quote is just *full* of WTFness.

"Otter complained that wolves are rapidly killing elk and other animals essential to Idaho's multimillion-dollar hunting industry."

Anyone else feel like hunting otters? ;-)
