conulyVarious rooms (walls and ceilings) have been replastered, the outside of the house has been painted, we're painting every room in the house, the filthy linoleum is f i n a l l y being replaced in the kitchen, with tiling...
It's scary, you know? It shouldn't be, and I'm happy, but it's frightening regardless, all this change, so fast.
Elise's parents came by the other day, Joann commented that it's "Like being home", and I wanted to say "No. No, it's not. Not anymore", because it's not. We don't have animals anymore, other than the everpresent mice. (Everybody's got mice nowadays.) We don't have stuff over everything anymore. She said it walking through the living room, well, that's got all the furniture from the attic and the basement in it during construction. It's not staying there, and I actually believe that.
But I was good, I didn't say it. I was mostly good, anyway....

though a nice BRIGHT sunny yellow would be lovely. i definitely recommend bright, warm colors (reds/yellows/oranges), but that's just me.
