Well, so long as I can tab down to post, I'm good. I guess.

[Poll #888305]

I eat sandwiches, but not like you describe them. I eat toast with egg and cheese. I eat avocado, cheese, and spinach.

I don't eat peanut butter or jelly.

I might put banana on a sandwich, but nothing else you listed, and not usually banana, because it doesn't go with much.

It would have made the poll make more sense to me if you had said something like that straight off the bat.

I was like "...wait... are 'sandwich' and 'PB&J sandwich' synonymous for her?".

Wish there was more than one option for #4. I eat mine with either preserves *or* apple butter.

Of course, I also make different kinds of sandwiches. Reigning favorite is hummus and sliced plum tomatoes on really good sourdough.

Peanut butter and potato chips! :D :D :D

That was my favourite as a kid, and it's still my favourite now. XDDDD *is odd, I guess*

My mum used to make me peanut butter and honey sandwiches. VERY tastey, and somehow the two sticky textures almost cancel each other out. It's still sticky, don't get me wrong, but not as much "rough of mouth" sticky.

My partner and his family members sometimes eat peanut butter and maple syrup sandwiches. The syrup seems to thin out the peanut butter so it doesn't get stuck to the roof of your mouth, which is nice. It's a bit sweet for me though.

Had to answer triangles because generally speaking, that's how I cut them. However, for peanut butter it's squares. Not sure why. I used to pull the crusts off (and eat them) then smush the squares down really flat.

But the best accompaniment for peanut butter is nice thick chunks of cucumber. Helps combat the cloying texture of the peanut butter. French bagguette + crunchy peanut butter + chunks of cucumber = best use of peanut butter.

peanut butter in tomato soup is really good too. especially if you get half a spoonful of peanut butter, and fill the rest of the spoon with soup, and each time you take your soup off the spoon, you take a little peanut butter with you. mmm.

The only thing I'll eat peanut butter with on a sandwich is marshmallow fluff- and that's only because it's kind of a childhood nostalgia thing. I generally can't stand the stuff with bread- there's just something about the texture that's really offputting for me.

I like all kinds of other sandwiches, just not peanut butter.

I didn't answer the poll, because I'd need ticky boxes as opposed to radio buttons (did I get that right?) for the "other slice" question.

I actually don't eat sandwiches these days, but not for any strong reason, so I answered as if I do. I'm not too fond of peanut butter, though, so there's an even chance I would leave it off and just have a jam sandwich. Did that a lot in junior high.
