Date: 2006-10-29 08:16 pm (UTC)I seem to recall the machine spitting mine out and the embarrassed, confused volunteer having to resubmit it.
Friday I got a generic letter from the provincial government, apologizing for the hundreds of incidents of failure, admitting that such machines proved to be 10% more expensive than our traditional paper ballots would have been and that henceforth Quebec would return to traditional paper ballots.
I love living in Canada. =)

I don't know if anyone around here is shady enough to tamper with it, but *shudders* as sleazy as Bob Corker and his supporters are, I wouldn't be surprised if someone here or remotely did so. Just do a Google search on "Bob Corker" and you'll see how whacko this guy is, and you'll understand why I've been ranting about him so much. Here's his actual website.
