Right off the boat along the water in Battery Park City, can't miss it.
I love this. Runs from 6 - 8 or 9, and people sit in a circle and drum. Families with little kids often don't drum, the kids just run around while the adults watch.
We went last year, we're going all this summer. It's starting to seem to me like "summer" equals "the sound of drums on the water". It's an integral part of my summer experience now.
And there's bathrooms right nearby - what more can you ask for? So, this Friday, I'm at Drumming Circle and I leave the bathroom with Ana. Send her to my mom while I get some water. Just at that moment, a little boy runs into the girl's room with his dad outside going "Connor? CONNOR! GET OUT HERE!"
Eventually, I was dispatched to rescue this kid from the horrors of the ladies' room while his dad kept an ineffective eye on Ana. I told the man that nobody would mind if he was just in and out getting his kid, but I guess that was too much for him. *sighs*
