This article inspires me to go on a series of killings. But wait, I don't have "an intense, out-of-control fantasy life that involves sex". I do have an intense fantasy life because, duh, I need material to write and I need to write because my editor would kill me otherwise. At least this is my excuse! It is not out-of-control for the very same reason. However, fairly little of it seems to be devoted to sex. *scratches head*

But then again, I am told by my friends that I have the mentality of a military interrogator, does that count? (oh please make it so! I've been called many things before, but not a potential serial killer. I want to claim this trophy!!)

Ooh, I can even create a ticker box kind of list based on the article.
* cruelty to animals - yep
* fire-setting - nope
* bed- wetting in later childhood - nope

Lovely!

And ooops. I just now realized that I posted this comment in the wrong place. *blush* It's meant as a reply to [livejournal.com profile] conuly's top-level post.

In the technical sense, which surely was not the intent of that article, everyone is on the spectrum, serial killers as well as anyone else.

great, now more parents will feel justified in killing their autistic children because they just saved society from a potential serial killer.

I have not deigned to look at this article in the least, BUT I will say EVEN IF statistically it was proven that more convicted serial killers are "on the spectrum" (and I doubt that *very* much), then one could argue simply that, not having the "social skills" of NT people, they simply get caught more frequently. :-p
